GREEN BUILDINGS WASTE MANAGEMENT The scope of waste generation covers all Managed Properties, Hotels & Serviced Apartments in the PRC and Singapore, as well as ongoing Property Development construction projects undertaken by subsidiaries and joint ventures1 in the PRC. All waste is disposed of through licensed third-party contractors in the PRC and Singapore. Both hazardous and non-hazardous wastes are segregated within the premises and collected regularly by the third-party vendors for proper treatment and disposal. Hazardous waste comprises waste cooking oil and batteries from our hotels. Non-hazardous waste comprises domestic waste and recyclables. PRC In FY 2025, waste generated in the PRC comprised 26,616 tonnes from Managed Properties2 and Hotels & Serviced Apartments, which was predominantly non-hazardous and remained broadly in line with the 26,439 tonnes recorded in FY 2024. The increase in waste intensity3 was mainly due to higher occupancy rates, particularly at Yanlord Landmark in Chengdu, Yanlord Reverie Plaza in Shenzhen, and Cangjie Commercial Plaza in Suzhou. In addition, 40,823 m3 of construction waste was generated from Property Development projects of our subsidiaries and joint ventures in FY 2025, which was also predominantly non-hazardous in nature. Singapore In Singapore, only non-hazardous waste comprising general waste and recyclables such as paper, plastic, metals and glass were generated and disposed. In FY 2025, total waste generated reached 1,317 tonnes, an increase from 1,174 tonnes in FY 2024. The increase was mainly due to higher occupancy rates in our managed shopping centres and office buildings with several properties fully leased. Dairy Farm Mall’s waste data was not collected separately during the reporting period and is therefore not included in the total waste. 1 The waste generated by joint ventures is calculated based on the Group’s proportionate share of ownership. 2 The waste generated of Managed Properties and Serviced Apartments covers buildings’ common area only. 3 Waste intensity is calculated based on the total amount of waste generated per GFA.
