SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS In 2015, the United Nations General Assembly announced 17 Sustainable Development Goals (“UN SDGs”) to address global challenges across social, environmental, governance and economic aspects. These 17 goals and 169 sub-targets serve to guide nations in adopting the UN SDGs with the aim of achieving them by 2030.
